You did an awesome job. I didn't know, that Hamachi2 is supported!

I switched from Hamachi to Remobo about half a year ago but now I think I need to test Hamachi2 again with Haguichi this time :)

Thanks Ztefn! Good to know! I use Hamachi to often remote into friends/family computers for tech. support purposes and using command-line-only Hamachi on Linux is time-consuming when in a hurry so I much prefer a GUI....knowing I can still use it to connect to both those Linux and non-Linux computers when I need to is great!

I'll have to give it a try on my old test machine sometime soon when I install Mint 12 on it! You're welcome for the compliments! :P

Hi Kody,

Haguichi should work just fine on Linux Mint 12 / Gnome 3. Using Mint you can follow the Ubuntu download instructions or watch this video.

PS: Thanks for the compliments! :)

Hi folks,

I am a bit of a Linux noobie, but a long-time user of Hamachi on Windows for personal and work use. I still use a Windows desktop and netbook on a regular basis, but as I enjoy Linux, I am pondering setting up a dual-boot on either my desktop or netbook with a Linux distro for fun and was looking at Linux Mint 12 as a possible candidate.

I've tinkered with many distros in VMs in the past and many used Gnome 2, which I know Haguichi works flawlessly on (kudos on such a quality product by the way!). My question is, is there a Gnome 3 compatible version of Haguichi in the works, or should I be able to to install Haguichi on Mint 12 with no issues...?

Cheers and thanks! :)

@markinmaine: Gnome 2 or 3 is not so relevant. Which runtime the mono libraries in your distro are build against probably is.

Thanks for this--works perfectly. Does not work, however, on Gnome 3--is a version in the work for that?
