Ever since it’s inception, Haguichi as a project has been hosted and managed on Launchpad. All these years Launchpad carried out it’s role in an outstanding manner, providing a reliable platform for hosting the source, package files, PPA’s, bug tracking and translations. And it still does!

However, in recent years GitHub has become the most popular platform to collaborate on open source projects. So starting today, Haguichi joins the crowd with a repository on GitHub. For now, the code itself is just a mirror of the master branch in Launchpad. But, you’ll be able to create issues and work on your own branch in GitHub when you prefer git over bzr. And if needed, I think we’ll figure out a way to sync back pull requests one way or the other.
